Outdool Pool

^{With a length of 25 meters and a capacity of five lap swimming lanes, our outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool off during the summer months.

The water temperature is between 81oF and 83oF.

Sliding and jumping boards

We offer a small slide in the shallow end and a 1-meter diving board in the deep end.

Wading Pool

^{We offer a wading pool of a maximum of 0.59 meters. This environment allows you to swim safely with your little ones.

The water temperature is between 87oF and 89oF.

Operation and regulations
Here's how the swim goes.
- Take a shower
- Have fun in the pool or wading pool
- Accompany children 11 years old and under (16 years old and over)
- Get out of the water quickly when the whistle blows, collect your personal belongings and leave the pool
- Respect the maximum capacity of 150 people.

BMX Park
Located in Cannon Park near the residential sector
Skateboard and In-Line Skating Park
Open Monday to Sunday, from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm (building 173).
Obstacle Course (PFO)
Completely redone in 2009, the obstacle course has 28 obstacles over a distance of 775 metres. It is reserved for members of the military only.
Recreation Parks
There are four parks in the Valcartier Base residential areas: Parc Vanier, Parc Garceau, Parc Beauvais and Parc Cannon.
Outdoor skating ring
Outdoor skating ring (Bldg 173) located near CANEX.
Open during the winter season.
Fitness Track with Exercise Stations
Located near the Sports Centre in a wooded area, this 1.5-kilo metre track has nine exercise stations.
Multifunctional track with exercise stations
This 6.3 kilometer long track circles the base and offers four training areas that can accommodate 10 people at a time.
