MILITARY FITNESS AQUATIC PROGRAMS (For active military personnel)

Swim Lesson Program

Military swim lessons are designed for those looking to further develop strokes and skills and to increase swimming distances and proficiency.  Are you uncomfortable with swimming at least one length of the pool, entering deep water or unable to perform basic surface support skills. In consultation with the Swim Instructor, swim lessons will focus on deep water entries, surface support, buoyancy, rhythmic breathing, surface dives, stroke technique and endurance building.

BMSS Preparation

This is highly recommended for members who were not successful in completing the BMSS or are preparing to complete their swim test. At the end of the 4-week session, a BMSS will be conducted with the goal being a pass. The focus will be on maintaining endurance to complete the 2 min surface support/tread & the 25 metre swim.

Contact the Military Aquatics Supervisor/Instructor to plan for a half hour lesson tailored to your needs.

*Note: Max 6 persons per lesson. 1 on 1 For BMSS preparation.
