The local radio stations are a great resource to keep you informed about news, school closures, weather, road conditions, bridge and ferry closures, and local advertisements.

Here are the Island radio stations, their frequencies, and formats:

  • HOT 105.5 (105.5 FM) — Hit music station
  • CFCY (95.1 FM) — Country music station with news
  • Max 93.1 (93.1 FM) -—Rock music station with news
  • Ocean 100 (100.3 FM) — Pop music station with news
  • CBC Radio One (96.1 FM and 92.3 FM or 101.1 FM in western PEI) — Public station with news, talk shows, and entertainment
  • CBC Radio Two (104.7 FM) — Public station with a variety of music genres
  • Spud FM (102.1 FM) — Classic rock music station with news
  • CBAF (88.1 FM and 97.5 FM or 106.9 FM in western PEI) — French language public station with news, talk shows, and entertainment

On PEI, there are a few options for TV providers—Bell, Eastlink, and Rogers. Some rural areas do not provide, or have limited services for, television, internet, and cellphones. Please contact local providers to see if your residential area is included within their coverage areas.
