Don't miss this opportunity to have your questions answered by our local experts! Sessions will be in English but Wordly will be used for instant translation.

Nourish to Flourish! Join Registered Dietitians Christine Tardif and Pamela Hatton on 7 March for a virtual Q&A on healthy eating patterns including meal planning, cost-effective meals, food labels, guidelines, and chronic disease prevention (prediabetes, hypertension, heart health, etc.). Don't miss this opportunity to have your questions answered by our local experts!

Christine Tardiff  
Christine is a Registered Dietitian with an impactful understanding of the connection between the body and the food that fuels it. Christine started her education by completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. This ignited a passion for sports nutrition, and she then chose to pursue her Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). She went on to complete a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from the University of Western Ontario and became a registered dietitian in 2015. Christine subsequently completed the International Olympic Committee’s Sport Nutrition Diploma in 2018 where she expanded her knowledge in the field of sports nutrition to better serve all level of athletes – now focusing on female athletes and women's health in the military setting. 

 



Pam Hatton, RD, MSc
Nutritional Wellness Program Lead 
Strengthening the Forces, Force Health Protection

Pam Hatton is the Nutritional Wellness Program Lead for Strengthening the Forces.   She is a Registered Dietitian with an undergraduate degree from St Francis Xavier University and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from McGill University, in addition to having graduate level Masters in Education courses from the Université de Québec à Chicoutimi.  

Pam brings 30 years of nutrition experience including 20 years as a CAF Food Services and Logistics Officer. She has worked as a nutritionist in public and community health in policy and program development and implementation with the City of Ottawa and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.  She has a special interest in adult education focusing on healthy eating and active living.
