YOUth Matter

five youth gathered and one girl being carried by them

A weekly drop in event just for YOUth from 12 to 18 years old!

  • 1600 - 1900 Monday
  • Kingston Military Family Resource Centre
The KMFRC YOUth Matter team is continuing their mission to show youth they matter to us!

We are offering youth, age 12 to 18, from military families the opportunity to engage in and learn about mindfulness! The first hour will be focused on mindfulness/open discussion, followed by the chance to participate in fun activities with peers! Youth can then engage with their peers with both planned and unplanned activities each week! An after-school snack will also be offered as part of the drop-in.

Each week will start with the chance to engage in fun, learning activities related to your mental health and wellness!

Sign up for one or more activities by completing the form below!

Upcoming sessions:
💼January 20: We are pleased to welcome Youth Engagement Specialist Devin Reynolds from KEYS to present some valuable information from 5-6 pm. Devin will be engaging with youth to keep them informed about how KEYS can help them with employment and what they can do to help youth in their employment journey.

  • YOUth are welcome to come before the presentation and stay after.
