Community garden group KMFRC

Grow, Connect, Thrive: Join the KMFRC Community Garden!

  • 1100- 1300
  • Kingston Military Family Resource Centre
This unique program is open to CAF members, Veterans, DND staff, and their families, offering the opportunity to nurture your own garden plot and build connections within the military community. Located at 32 Lundy’s Lane, the garden provides everything you need to grow fresh, organic produce, all while enjoying the great outdoors.

The KMFRC Community Garden promotes healthy living and sustainable gardening practices, fostering a sense of community through shared experiences and resources. Participants will have access to water, communal tools, and guidance from fellow gardeners throughout the season.

Get ready to dig in and enjoy the satisfaction of growing your own food while connecting with others!

When you register below, you’ll be signing up for a garden plot in the KMFRC Community Garden. As part of the registration, you’ll also have the option to join us for a Community Garden Prep + Lunch on May 3 from 11AM–1PM at the KMFRC. This optional event is a great opportunity to meet fellow gardeners, get familiar with the space, start prepping your plot, and enjoy a relaxed lunch together. If you'd like to attend, you’ll be asked to share any dietary restrictions during registration.

If you're unable to join us for the Garden Prep + Lunch, you’ll be able to access your plot starting May 5, once you've signed the Garden Terms & Conditions and received the gate code at the front desk.

Please note that plots are limited, and registration opens April 10th.
