The Aurora Newspaper

A collage-style image made up of overlapping newspaper and magazine pages. Several printed headlines and photos are visible,.

The Aurora Newspaper is a Canadian Forces Newspaper Association member and serves as a communications and graphics hub for 14 Wing Defence Team news, events and programs; with reach across the wing, into the Valley community and beyond. The office prepares content for the bi-weekly wing-wide newsletter, manages the base’s electronic gate signage, sits on several committees in an advisory role, and provides material to the base internal websites. Graphic services are available for special programs and events, paid advertising, custom design work and more. The managing editor regularly liaises with Public Affairs, the base webmaster, and Wing Imaging.
The Aurora Newspaper is published bi-weekly, with a circulation of 4,500 copies distributed free of charge from Coldbrook to Middleton. The weekly PDF is online, archived to 2009. Wing personnel and the surrounding community are kept well informed by this excellent publication, a mix of 14 Wing and community news, advertising and local resources.
