Membership Fees

• Membership - Definition of Family Members
  For memberships and family admission fees the definitions of families is as follows:

  • the member's spouse or common-law paratner who is normally residing with the member at the member's plac eof duty or who, if livling separately, is doing so for work related or military reasons;
  • a relative by blood, marriage, common-law partnership, adoption legally or, is normally resident with the member and for who the member may claim a personal exemption under the Income Tax Act. 
  • a child who is normally resident with the member and for who the member would have been eligible to claim a person exemption under the Income Tax Act if the child were a relative by blood, marriage, common-law partnership, adoption legally or, in fact, for whom the member has accepted full financial responsibility and has commenced adoption proceedings;
  • a child or legal ward of the spouse or common-law partners and the members who is single and full-time attendance at school or university and is under the age of 26; and
  • a family member who is permanently residing with the member, but who is precluded from qualifying as a dependent under the Income Tax Act because the family member receives a pension.

  Actively Serving Military 

  The military person can choose to pay their annual membership as a pay allotment.  Your Service Number and CF One Number are required to complete the necessary paperwork. 

  Military Veterans, Defence Partners and Associate Members 

  1. Void Cheque/Pre-Authorized Debit  
     
     a.  You will require a CF One Number.  If you do not qualify for a CF One Number, one will be assigned to you. 
     
     b.  You will require a void/cheque/pre-authorized debit form at the time of membership purchase to complete the payment plan paperwork in addition to the membership contract. 
     
     c.  A one-month deposit is made at the time of purchase.  The balance of the payments will be deducted over the next 11 months. 

  2. Credit Card 
     
     a.  You will require a CF One Number.  If you do not qualify for a CF One Number, one will be assigned to you. 
     
     b.  A one-month deposit is made at the time of purchase.  The balance of the payments will be deducted over the next 11 months. 
     
     c.  After you have you completed the paperwork, you will be required to bring a copy of your invoice, the Non-Public Property (NPP) Payment Deduction Authorization (PDA) with your credit card to NPF Accounting in the Canex mall between the hours of 0800 and 1600.

  4. Former civilian employees of DND in receipt of a pension on behalf of their DND service and their families.
