Chapels & Chaplains

Mission   

The Chaplain, called to serve 9 Wing Gander, contributes to the operational imperatives of this Wing by fostering and sustaining spiritual dimensions to the care of personnel and their families by providing:   

• Religious and Spiritual Services,
• Pastoral Care, Education and Counselling,
• Crisis Intervention, Stress Management and
• Advice to the Chain of Command on  Religious, Spiritual, Ethical, Moral
• and Morale Issues that impact personnel and their families.

Vision

The 9 Wing Gander Chaplain, faithful to his faith tradition, embraces principles of multi-faith to minister to his own, facilitate the spiritual care of others and care for all members of 9 Wing Gander and their families to meet operational requirements within the Royal Canadian Air Force.

NOTE: As 9 Wing Gander does not have chapel infrastructure at the moment.
