    The Senior Manager, MFS Europe is responsible for overseeing the provision of supports and services to all CAF families living in Europe. Sandra ensures MFS(E) is responsive to the needs of each community alongside 30+ MFS(E) team members across Europe. She also works with a voluntary advisory committee comprised of 51% military spouses who provide another voice to our families across Europe.

    Carole is responsible for the oversight of program development and implementation for service delivery sites throughout Europe. She oversees Program Coordinators and works alongside Community Services Managers in various sites, to ensure effective delivery of programs and services such as; child and youth, virtual, employment, education and training, French language programs and communications.

    Micheal joins the OUTCAN Mental Health team to help support OUTCAN families in Europe. He has a varied background in community supports including most recently working in two hospital clinics to help people improve their mental and well-being. He really enjoys travel and a couple of his new favourite places are Sydney, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand. Michael is looking forward to meeting you soon!

    Renée takes care of any inquiries related to programming or services provided by MFS(E) and tracks all MFS expenditures related to programming directly or by the Centres. She is available to answer any questions from CAF families across Europe and can direct you to coordinators or to your local Military Family Services Centre.

    Mara oversees the day-to-day operations and administration of the MFS(E) for Brussels. She works with the local Commanding Officer and community members to evaluate and deliver programs which meet their needs.

    Mara works closely with the Community Services Providers to ensure families are welcomed and settle into their new community.

    Beth is responsible for the development, implementation, and improvement of the MFS(E) Brussels' Adult, Community, Outreach, and Child and Youth programs.
    Beth also plays a key role in the communication of the various programs and activities and is committed to providing continued support for families as they integrate into the OUTCAN community in Brussels.

    Mary is readily available to provide information related to the centre’s ongoing programs and services. She oversees event registration, the loan program, executes administrative duties and is always ready to welcome any families to the center.

    Félix develops and implements various fitness and sports programs and activities at SHAPE for CAF members and the broader CAF community. He leads FORCE Evaluation testing of CAF members and oversees the PSP Reconditioning Program, which helps ill and injured members return to duty with customized exercises and training program.  

    Apart from that, he also offers weekly fitness classes, oversees sports on base (SACEUR, Intramural, etc.) and supports larger activities for the entire CAF community such as the RCAF Run, the Navy Bike Ride and the Army Run.

    Kathleen oversees the day to day operations and administration of MFS(E) for Naples and remotely located families. Her priorities include working with the local Commanding Officer and to continually evaluate and deliver programs that meet the needs of all the targeted groups that the MFS(E) serves. Kathleen works closely with the Community Services Providers to understand the needs of the community and to incorporate suggestions for improved program and service offerings.

    Judy is responsible for development, implementation and improvement of adult programming, sourcing second languages services and providing support to the French community of Naples while providing valuable information to support families and ensure successful community integration. Judy also plays a key role in providing support to remotely located families in Poggio, Sigonella and Rome.

    Marie-Eve, in her role as PSP Coordinator provides recreation services and support to the CAF and Canadians Residing in Naples (CARIN) Unit Fund members. The PSP Coordinator is responsible for the gym and travel library, and the sport and recreation equipment (inventoried on the Distribution Account), all located at Villa Maple Leaf.

    Stephanie is a dedicated mother of two, a military spouse, and a nurse by training. Currently, she is on her first OUTCAN in Ferrara, Italy. Stephanie has also contributed to humanitarian efforts as a nurse with NGOs in Congo (DRC) and Haiti. Passionate about volunteering, she loves making new friends, traveling, and learning new languages. She joined the MFS in 2024. Stephanie firmly believes that military life is a family affair and dedicates herself to assisting families, connecting communities, and finding resources to make daily life easier. Stephanie is just an email or a phone call away (she is one of the few left that does enjoy a nice phone call). Do not hesitate to reach out.

    Sylvie is a mother of three and grandmother, military spouse, a graphic designer, former daycare provider and worked at the Canadian Embassy in Dakar. She has been posted to Dakar, Senegal and Izmir, Türkiye and lived in Ottawa and Kingston. She is currently in Türkiye. She joined the MFS team in 2024. Sylvie enjoys travelling, crafting, volunteering and is known for her tasty banana bread. Sylvie welcomes you to the OUTCAN experience and help provide you with any support along the way!

    Gloria oversees the daily operations and administration of MFS(E) for the families located in Riga and remote locations throughout Europe. She is always available to meet with community members to address their needs, concerns and to consider suggestions for the improvement of programs and services. She works closely with the Community Service Providers (CSPs) on her team, in order to facilitate valuable services and program delivery to community members.

    Gloria also provides referral services through confidential communications with the MFS(E) Social Worker and chaplaincy team.

    Trish supports families in Riga by providing helpful information during their OUTCAN relocation as well as throughout their posting. She oversees the development of Adult / Family programs in Riga and provides referrals and community resource information to families and single members in Riga. Trish provides support for community engagement and events, including hosting MFS(E) activities in Riga (such as the monthly Coffee Meet-ups), and oversees volunteer opportunities with MFS(E) in Riga.
