Megan Beauchamp
Community CoordinatorAs a military spouse and mother to two daughters, Megan brings both personal and professional experience supporting military families through the unique challenges and opportunities of this lifestyle. Over the past several years, Megan has worked with military families in various roles at both the Kingston and New Brunswick MFRCs—including employment services, personal development, special events, and leadership positions such as Director of Op@Work and Director of Business and Human Resources.
In addition to her professional experience in military family support, Megan is a certified group fitness instructor, leading classes in rebounding, barre, dance fitness, and circuit training. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Oromocto Food Bank and remains actively engaged in several advisory groups focused on advocating for the well-being of military families.
Megan is passionate about helping families identify and build upon their adaptive strengths, foster meaningful connections, and find joy—even amidst the challenges of military life. She looks forward to embarking on this next chapter with MFS-Europe and collaborating with the team to support families through their remote OUTCAN experiences.

Sylvie is a mother of three and grandmother, military spouse, a graphic designer, former daycare provider and worked at the Canadian Embassy in Dakar. She has been posted to Dakar, Senegal and Izmir, Türkiye and lived in Ottawa and Kingston. She is currently in Türkiye. She joined the MFS team in 2024. Sylvie enjoys travelling, crafting, volunteering and is known for her tasty banana bread. Sylvie welcomes you to the OUTCAN experience and help provide you with any support along the way! -
Kerry Dobbs

Kerry is a mother of two, a military spouse, and a public servant. After recently joining MFS in November 2024, Kerry brings her strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex tasks from her roles within the Government of Canada as a strategic advisor. Currently on her first OUTCAN, residing in Madrid, Spain with her husband, two children, and a lively three-year-old black lab, Kerry is embracing life abroad. She’s excited about the opportunity to explore the rich culture and diverse cuisines of Europe, especially her love for cooking, and looks forward to trying new flavors and culinary traditions along the way.
