Moms Support Group - MATA/PATA Clerk

Join us for an informative presentation by a MATA/PATA clerk, who will answer questions related to maternity and paternity leave entitlement for military members and their partners. Learn about additional leave options that may be given in special circumstances to moms before or after birth. Maternity/Parental HRA, Jackie Neufeld, will guide us through the ins and outs of MATA and PATA leaves including how military members can take their leave, what time off they are entitled to, and all the minor details that could potentially be missed. Jackie will also explain Employment Insurance (EI) by detailing how it works and how to coordinate leave with your spouse, either simultaneously or separately. For this session, the mom’s partner or the baby’s parent is also invited to join us.
