MFRCS Volunteer Program

The MFRCS Volunteer Program is designed to develop and maintain a core of volunteers who work in partnership with the staff in providing programs, events and services for 4 Wing Cold Lake and the Cold Lake community.  The commitment can be long or short term and can be simple or intense. The type of involvement is your choice and can be very rewarding. This is a great way to spend quality time with your family, meet new people, build a resume, enhance your expertise or work with children and youth.  Volunteering touches all that we do at the MFRCS. A variety of volunteer positions are available and there is sure to be one suited for you.
  • Youth Volunteering
hours are needed towards graduating high school or maybe even for scholarships.  In Alberta, volunteer experience can count towards marks in high school and, in some cases, towards acceptance at post-secondary institutions.  Find out what volunteer requirements are needed in other provinces for high school graduation. Grade 9 and higher can start building a portfolio, track, and display their volunteer efforts towards obtaining their future goals.
