Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families experience unique challenges, including frequent relocations, extended separations, deployments, and the risks associated with service. The Calgary Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is here to help families navigate these challenges with confidence, connection, and support.

For a child, military life may mean seeing a parent only through a screen for months. For a spouse or partner, it may mean managing the household and family responsibilities alone during a deployment. These are everyday realities for military families, and the Calgary MFRC supports them through every stage of the journey.

From Red Deer to Lethbridge, our programs and services include personal development, deployment support, counselling, health and wellness resources, and activities for children and youth.

All funds raised go directly to our local military community. We support families of CAF members and veterans within our service area of Southern Alberta, including north to Red Deer and south to Lethbridge. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20.00. The Calgary Military Family Resource Centre is planning to raise $300,000 this year in fundraising. It will cost our organization an estimate of $20,000 to raise this. Funds raised will support our goal to bring about engaged and resilient Canadian Military and Veteran Families.
