Deployments in the Canadian Armed Forces are very fluid. When one cycle ends, another one begins. We have many resources to help families navigate any work related separation—not just for the CAF Member, either...for the family members, too! We know more than most how these separations affect all members of the family.
If your family is preparing for an upcoming deployment, we recommend this pre-deployment checklist: https://cfmws.ca/support-services/deployment/pre-deployment/pre-deployment-checklists
Morale Mail
Families are welcome to drop off Morale Mail packages anytime of the year, here at our office (3 Lower Malpeque Rd.). We're happy to assist you in packaging and mailing. While a package in the mail may seem like a small thing, we've heard over and over from our deployed CAF members what an impact it has. As you can imagine, it's hard being away from home—having a taste of home sent to you can make such a difference. Small things can have big impacts!
Emergency Family Care Plan

Work Absences
Many Military families experience work absences that aren't deployments. These absences can still affect families. We're here to support you, for both deployments and non-deployment work absences.
