Summers are warm and not as humid in North Bay compared to Southern Ontario. Winters are very cold with above average snowfall.

The most spoken language in North Bay is by far English (with “English-only” representing ≈81% of the population), with only 1.4% speaking both English and French and 13% French only with the balance speaking a combination of official and non-official languages to Canada.
