On Your Own but Not Alone
If the CAF member in your life is deployed or away from home for a work-related absence, we recognize that you may be living with extra stress and added burdens. So, let’s check-in with each other and share support.
Families can join Military Family Service’s National Capital Region (MFS-NCR)'s Mental Health Team and Deployment Support Program Team bi-weekly for an hour of virtual conversation and the opportunity to connect. Each session will focus on a theme related to the realities of deployment; the pits and peaks of life that happen when a loved one is away.
- Sessions are offered every second Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
- The series will run from October 2024 to March 2025, with a break in December
- Families can attend any number of sessions that works for them. There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions you have to attend to participate
- Sessions are bilingual
Please register by 9:00 AM on Monday before the session.
