Taekwondo is a Korean martial art involving punching and kicking techniques. Taekwondo practitioners wear a uniform, known as a dobok. It is a combat sport which was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by Korean martial artists with experience in martial arts such as karate, Chinese martial arts, and indigenous Korean martial arts traditions such as taekkyon, subak, and gwonbeop.

Classes will focus on several dimensions, i.e. physical, cognitive, social and moral. Family values, team spirit, respect and fun will be at the forefront of this program. Classes will be tailored to the needs of the participants and progression will be at their own pace. Other martial arts adepts are of course welcome to join. Classes will be held in French and English and will be led by Major Jimmy Gaudette, V Dan of the International Chang-Hon Taekwondo Federation (ICTF).
