Mental Health First Aid for the Veteran Community (MHFA-VC) is a training program that equips Veterans, military families, caregivers, and community members with the knowledge and skills to recognize, respond to, and support individuals experiencing mental health or substance use challenges, while encouraging access to appropriate professional and community resources.

This course is offered in two modules. Module 1 is a self-paced online component that must be completed at least three (3) days before the course. Module 2 consists of in-person classroom training.

• Logistics will be communicated to participants via email.
• Participants must register with a non-DWAN email (forces.gc.ca email accounts will not work).

Spaces are limited and registrations will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. If this session is full, registrants will be informed and added to a waitlist.
