Member categories

• Military

  1.  Serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and their families;
  
  2.  Members of the Reserve Force of the CAF, Canadian Rangers and members of the Canadian Cadet Organization, and their families; 
  
  3.  Foreign military personnel currently serving in the CAF and their families; and  

  4.  Veterans (discharged members of the CAF who have completed basic military training and received their honourable discharge from the CAF) and their families.

• Civilian employees of the ministry of national defense (public service and non-public funds)
  1.  Current full-time or part-time Department of National Defence (DND) personnel, current Non-Public Funds (NPF) personnel on a full or part-time basis, Military Family Resource Centres employees and their families; 
  
  2.  Retired DND employees in receipt of a pension and former NPF members in receipt of a pension; 
  
  3.  NPF casual employees with 10 or more years of continuous service with the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services; 
  
  4.  Full or part-time Communications Security Establishment Canada personnel, Defence Research and Development Canada and Defence Construction Canada, and their families; 
  
  5.  Serving and former members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who are in receipt of a pension, and their families; 
  
  6.  Colonels/Captains (Navy) and Lieutenant Colonels/Commanding Officers and their families, Commanders and their families;
• Citizen

  Anyone not mentioned in the previous two categories can become a member.
