This is an emergency PMQ that can be rented for leisure (for reg or reserve force members) through the Gander Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC). This is a great amenity when you have family coming to town or in need of a place to stay when you are either traveling to or through Gander for a medical appointment.  The cost per night is $50.00 for this fully furnished, 4 bedroom house with cable, internet and phone service included. You can call the front desk at 709-256-1703 ext. 6221206 to inquire about availability and to book. We always recommend having a back up plan as this is a house used for emergency purposes first. If an emergency arises during your stay, you may be asked to vacate the premises. Please know, this house does not have a cleaning staff or person, it is on the honor system that you will do a light cleaning when you are leaving (sweep, mop, etc.) so it is ready for the next guest.  This includes washing and drying your bed sheets, towels and dish clothes. Please return the towels/face cloths to the linen closet, the dish cloths in the kitchen drawer and the bedding folded on the bed for the next guest. A washer and dryer can be found in the basement for your convenience. All cleaning supplies may be found in the closet on the main floor. If you notice that certain products are low or empty (toilet paper, dish liquid, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and cleaning supplies) please advise the MFRC staff so they can be replaced. You are responsible to bring any garbage back to the MFRC, to be placed in our dumpster in the back when you return the keys and make payment. We accept payment by cash, or cheque (must be written to Receiver General).
