Cassino: A guided tour of the area and river excursion recounting historical facts of the Second World War, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the destruction of Cassino, which partly took place on the river.The four battles of Cassino (January-May 1944), were among the most important battles of the Second World War, as the city was located on the access route to Rome. This historical adventure begins with a guided tour inside the premises: a walking tour through memories and monuments. After completing the guided walking tour, you will proceed with the River Tour: the tour guide will be accompanied by a rafting guide.A soft rafting trip will take you to discover the historical events of World War II, right where they happened. The trip is enriched with stories and images from the past. Along the way you will stop at various points. The dinghies will be maneuvered with your help, in areas of still water, and the tour guide will continue telling us about the history that happened here.
