Playschool

Our licensed Playschool program is eligible for the provincial affordability grant that reduces the amount families will pay per month. Families who are eligible to receive the grant will have their fees reduced by $100/month/child.

Our program strives to create a “learning through play” environment that stimulates children’s natural curiosity, growth and development. Programming will include art, music, story time, field trips and physical activity. Placement priority is given to CAF families; however, we welcome all families when space is available. Children must be 3 years of age and toilet trained to enroll. 

Enrollment opens June 1, 2026. Registration packages can be picked up in person at the MFRC front desk or call 780-973-4011 ext. 528-6300 to request a digital copy by email. *NOTE* your child’s registration is not confirmed until the registration package and payment have been received. A $10.00 non-refundable administrative fee is due at the time of registration. Registration packages must be received within one (1) week of payment.

Open to current serving CAF families

Fee: $185/month ($100 affordability) = $85/month
