Guiding Children Through Life’s Storms

Rainbows (Ages 8-10 years)

Children can have difficulty managing their emotions when adjusting to change or trying to cope with the absence of a loved one. Help your child grieve and grow through these programs offering support and healing for children who are experiencing a deployment, separation, divorce, death or transition within their family.

Children will participate using journals, activities and reflections that are designed to help them express their feelings and learn new coping strategies in a safe, supportive environment. Each session will provide children with opportunities to build positive and trusting relationships with peers and adults while strengthening their confidence, building their self-esteem, improving their communication, and developing their problem-solving abilities.

Open to: youth from CAF, Veteran, Defence Community families and Families of the Fallen

If you are interested in attending or would like more details, please fill in the form below, email intake@mfrcedmonton.com or call 780-973-4011 ext. 528-6300. For children ages 8-10 years, please see our Sunbeams program.
