Child Care Safety

What signs should you watch for if a child is sick? How do you create a safe environment inside and outside the home? Learn this and more in this free online course offered by St John Ambulance that helps parents and caregivers keep young children safe.

You can access the course at a convenient time and do it all at once or in separate sessions. Module topics include: childhood illness; abuse and neglect; medications; and, child safety in the home. Each section has a short quiz, and the last module is a quiz on first aid in childcare.

Participants that complete all modules receive a digital badge. If you have a current Standard First Aid Certificate, you can receive a First Aid in Childcare Certificate for $25 at any St John Ambulance Alberta Centre.
