Inter-section Sports Program

Welcome to 19 Wing inter-section sports!  This recreational inter-section program is offered to all Military personnel and, with the WComd's approval, DND/NPF employees, contractors (IMP), and the RCMP. Intersection sports are 19 Wing’s intramural sports leagues; units/squadrons compete against each other in a fun and inclusive environment. Intersection is co-ed and there are no age categories. The purpose of intersection sports is to develop cohesion, teamwork, morale and esprit de corps all the while improving upon physical and mental fitness. Equipment Rentals

Equipment can be rented from 19 Wing Sports Store and is FREE for 19 Wing Military Members and DND/NPF employees. Please click here for available equipment to request a rental.

Inter-section Sports

  • Hockey

    Inter-Section Hockey is a recreational program at 19 Wing that runs from October through March. 

    Teams are comprised of members from Units of 19 Wing as well as the RCMP; games are played at Glacier Gardens Arena on Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings. 

  • Curling

    The Wing Curling League is a recreational curling league at 19 Wing that will start running in the last week of January 2026 for 5 weeks. 

    Games are played Wednesday afternoons from 13:45 - 15:30 at the Comox Valley Curling Club, 4835 Headquarters Way, Courtenay.

  • Golf

    Inter-Section Golf is a recreational program at 19 Wing that runs from March through October. 

    Rounds are 9 holes and played Wednesday afternoons at Glacier Greens Golf Course.  All tee times begin at 13:34 hrs.  Although the primary goal of intersection golf is for golfers of all skill levels to get out for a fun afternoon of golf, there will be weekly prizes given out for the Closest to the Pin and the Longest Drive. If golfers wish to play alternative game formats (best ball, scramble, match play etc.) that is entirely up to them.
