Calgary MFRC Kids Camp - Week 2

Designed for children aged 6 to 12, our day camp offers flexible registration options, allowing participants to register for specific days or the entire week.

Calgary MFRC Summer Camp is available exclusively to military children, defined as children of currently serving Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members or CAF veterans.

Additionally, each military child may invite one civilian friend to join, with the requirement that they attend camp together.

Parents who volunteer as chaperones for the week will receive a discounted rate!

Monday, August 11

We'll start the week off with some T-shirt art and bracelet making! Campers will wear these T-shirts throughout the week. We’ll be doing some more arts and crafts in the morning. Lunch will be McDonald's, then we'll head out for some laser tag.

Tuesday, August 12

We're heading to Bow Habitat to learn about fish and water creatures. Please pack your own lunch. In the afternoon, we will be heading to the Calgary Farmyard.

Wednesday, August 13

Today is going to be an EARLY day. We're leaving at 8:00 am and heading out to Kananaskis Country for horseback riding at Boundary Ranch. So please adjust your arrival time. Our lunch today will be BBQ with make-your-own sundaes!

Thursday, August 14

Get ready to SPARK your imaginations! We're spending the whole day at Telus Spark Science Centre. Lunch will be at the Centre.

Friday, August 16

We will be celebrating the end of Summer Camps with a Sports Day with help from PSP staff. Lunch will be from Olive Garden. And in keeping with our Celebration, we will be having a FAMILY BBQ at the end of the day. All Family members are welcome to join us for a hamburger/hot dog and cake at 4:30 pm in North Glenmore Park.
