Calgary MFRC Kids Camp - Week 1

Designed for children aged 6 to 12, our day camp offers flexible registration options, allowing participants to register for specific days or the entire week.

Calgary MFRC Summer Camp is available exclusively to military children, defined as children of currently serving Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members (reservist or reg force) or CAF veterans.

Join us for a week of exciting activities, adventures, and new friendships!

Full Week Price: $183.00

Parents who volunteer as chaperones for the week will receive a discounted rate!

Monday, July 7

We'll start the week off with some T-shirt art! Campers will wear these T-shirts throughout the week. We’ll be doing some more arts and crafts in the morning. Lunch will be Subway, then we'll head to a petting farm for the afternoon.

Tuesday, July 8

We'll start the morning at the Calgary MFRC Stampede breakfast! There will be plenty of games and activities to keep us busy all morning. For the afternoon, we'll head out to Granary Road. Please pack your own lunch for today.

Wednesday, July 9

We’re heading to Calaway Park for a fun-filled day of rides. Lunch will be at Calaway Park!

Thursday, July 10

We’ll be learning about Wolf Dogs at the Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary! Then we’ll head into Cochrane for a picnic lunch at Mitford Park, and in the afternoon, we’ll go bowling at Cochrane Lanes. Please pack your own lunch.

Friday, July 11

We’ll do some military training with a modified Battle Fitness Test (BFT)! Backpacks will be provided that the kids can bring home. This will be followed by a medals parade. Lunch will be Pizza Hut. In the afternoon, we will build wellness boxes.
