To get FIT or to just play, the Buell Fitness and Aquatic Centre is the place to be!

Our primary complex is home to:

  • FORCE testing and unit workouts in the gymnasiums.
  • Health and Wellness classes that inspire clients' minds and bodies.
  • Squash, badminton, and volleyball games on our indoor and outdoor courts.
  • Self-directed or personal training in our cardio and weight rooms.
  • Training exercises, Specialty Testing, and Base Team practices.
  • Friendly faces in Fitness and Sports Administration Offices.
  • Cardio
    With treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent and spin bikes, and rowers at your fingertips, getting a great cardio burn is easy!
  • Climbing Wall

    The purpose of CFB Borden's climbing wall is to offer CAF members with an opportuinty to experience and practice climbing as a means of physical activity and sport.

    Interested units and groups may submit a Support Request through Fitness Coordinator, Chelsey Tuck at Chelsey.Tuck@forces.gc.ca

    Members may reserve a spot in the next training course by sending an email to +Rock Wall Borden on the DWAN with their full name and service number.

  • Noon Fitness

    Noon Fitness Schedule -April to July 2026

    Serving CAF members must show their ID card at our Front Desk in order to obtain an orange program card.

    Retired military, military spouses and DND/NPF staff must have a valid PSP Plan and have completed the required papwerwork prior to attending a class.  Classes are free and participants must obtain a yellow program card from the front desk, before attending a class. Paperwork must be updated every 6 months.

    The program card must be given to the Fitness and Sports Instructor at the start of each class.

  • Weights
    Build muscle, tone, or maximize your strength and longevity with a wide assortment of free weights and Paramount machines. New to weight training? Ask any of our Fitness Team for an orientation to proper weight use and form.
  • Outdoor Fields and Courts
    Breathe fresh air into your activities at our outdoor soccer field and volleyball court - or ask a member of our Fitness Team to recommend a running route to improve your endurance and stamina.
  • Change Rooms
    Stash your stuff, and freshen up after a satisfying workout with our showers, and rented or day locker services.
  • Equipment
    Add challenge, relaxation, or a new twist to your workout just by using our: mats, resistance and balance balls, free weights and kettlebells, resistance bands, skipping ropes, spin bikes, sports equipment, steps and plyo-boxes.
