May 1 to 31, 2025 - Pedometer Challenge

What is the pedometer challenge?

The pedometer challenge has attracted more than 150 participants every year for the past ten years. It is simple to do, accessible to everyone, and can have a significant impact on your health.

The goal is to try to walk 8,000 steps a day throughout the month of May.

Walking daily helps to reduce the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle while considerably improving your physical and mental health.

New this year: the inter-unit competition!

This year, we are aiming for more than 400 participants.

By registering, you are contributing to your unit's collective effort to win one of the two trophies!

In addition, several individual prizes will be up for grabs:

  • Garmin watch
  • Fitbit
  • Bluetooth earphones
  • Gift cards
  • Shoes

Participants: BFC Bagotville workers and reserve units
