UFA Fuel Link Card Program
Any CAF Member posted to Wainwright or on IR is eligible for a UFA Fuel Link Card while they're posted here.
Please note: THIS IS NOT A CHARGE ACCOUNT CARD - this is a card that will provide you gasoline and diesel at wholesale pricing.For those unfamiliar with the UFA fuel link cards, these cards allow individuals to access UFA card lock gas stations. UFA has over 110 stations spread across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northern BC. In addition to access, these cards will allow CAF members to purchase gasoline and diesel at wholesale prices directly from the UFA. Wholesale prices can be anywhere form 5 cents to 35 cents per liter less than retail prices depending on the day and location.

Who is UFA?
The United Farmers of Alberta is a cooperative established in 1909. They operate card lock fuel stations and "farm stores" across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northern BC. They provide a variety of retail and commercial services regularly used by rural Canadians.

What is the CAF Fuel Link Progarm?
UFA would like to offer active FT CAF personnel the opportunity to purchase gas and diesel at wholesale prices for their personal vehicles. This represents a savings of 5-35 cents per liter depending on the retail mark up in your area on the particular day.

How do I buy fuel?
Visit any UFA card lock fuel station. Use the fuel link card provided at the card lock terminal to lock in your preferred rates on fuel. Provide Payment at that same terminal. Fuel your vehicle. Your fuel link card remains active indefinitely. There is no limit on how often you buy fuel or on the volume of fuel you can purchase.

Where are the UFA Card Lock Fuel Stations located?
UFA has over 110 card lock stations across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern BC. A complete listing of these stations is available at www.ufa.com. There is a UFA Card lock station located 2202 17 Ave Wainwright on the corner of 23rd Street and 17 Ave.

Who gets a card and how many can they get?
One card will be issued to any interested active FT CAF member within the region that UFA services. Any possible expansion to the program will be considered later in consultation with UFA.

How do I get a card?
After an initial roll out, cards will be issued and collected during your in-clearance and out-clearance from the mess. Cards not returned during out-clearance will be deactivated and cancelled.

What do I do if I lose my card?
Report the lost card to the Mess Admin Office. Your original card will be deactivated and cancelled. You will then be issued a new card.
