World suicide prevention day - Walk of hope
Opent to militairies and their families, and the Extended Defence Team.

-
Saint-Jean Garrison - Montreal Garrison - Saint-Hubert Site - RMC
Although suicide is an individual act, it occurs within a broader context involving the person, their immediate community, and society as a whole. This means we are all touched by the problem, and prevention must take place at many levels. There should never be a situation where suicide feels like the only option. If each of us contributes to prevention, we can reduce deaths and their devastating impacts (Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention and Association québécoise de prévention du suicide).
The power of coming together and reaching out is immense — it can save lives. With this in mind, the PSP Health Promotion Department invites you to join a solidarity walk to inspire hope in our community and help reduce the burden of psychological distress and suicide.
We invite you to join us for a group walk on the Garrison grounds in solidarity with those affected by suicide.
This activity also aims to create hope and express our support for the cause of suicide prevention.
