For me, climbing is more than just a sport. It's a complete discipline that combines technique, rigorous training and a subtle balance between strength, flexibility and intuition. Every ascent represents an opportunity to push back your limits while respecting your abilities. Not only does it enable you to get to know yourself better, it also helps you develop essential qualities such as respect, responsibility, discipline and, above all, self-confidence. Climbing has the unique power to remind us of our humility through every challenge we overcome. After more than 25 years of practice, I'm driven by the desire to share this passion, convinced that it will also captivate you.

I discovered climbing in 1998 and quickly became passionate about the sport. Over the years, I have practised various climbing styles, acquiring a wide range of techniques and knowledge. I've long been sharing my expertise by mentoring climbers of all levels. In 2022, I joined the volunteer team at the St-Jean Garrison and, since 2024, I've held the position of chief usher. I'm very happy to be involved with the military community, and to be responding to a need in the region.

I discovered climbing two years ago. In 2024, I was lucky enough to join the team of volunteer ushers, an opportunity that not only allowed me to deepen my climbing skills, but also to broaden my horizons by contributing to stimulating projects. This rewarding experience gives me the opportunity to get actively involved with military personnel and their families, which is a source of motivation and commitment for me.Francis

Eclectic and passionate, I love to discover and experiment. Since 2016, climbing has been one of my favorite playgrounds. In 2022, I had the opportunity to join the PSP leisure team of openers. If I had to choose one type of hold to describe myself, it would definitely be a CRIMP. Technique and movement are very important to me in this sport.Julie

Born and raised on the South African coast, I made Quebec my home in 2010. I've been climbing for 10 years and more seriously for 4. In 2025, I'm joining the St-Jean Garrison's team of ushers. I can't wait to learn from and contribute to this fantastic group of passionate volunteers!Barry
