General Contest Rules & Eligibility
*In order to be eligible for prizing, you must register and attend the webinar.
Contest Dates:
Contest prizing will be awarded during the online webinar launch/registration period commencing January 13th at 9:00 AM (EST) until the end of the online webinar on January 30th at 3:30 PM (EST). Prizing will be awarded (by random generator) to those who participate in the “Early Registration” & “Share & Win” social media contests as well as by interacting during the online webinar.
Eligibility:
- Participants must be registered for the online webinar and attend the entire session (2:00 PM – 3:30 PM EST) on January 30, 2025, to qualify for all contest entries/prizing.
- All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
- Participants must be members of the CAF Community* and provide a valid military ID or CFOne card upon registration.
- NPF employees are not eligible to win. NPF employees would only be eligible if they were an NPP Beneficiaries**.
*CAF Community refers to Regular, Reserve, Retired military members and family members 18+, and extended defence community (Military Family Resource Centres (MFRCs), DND Public Servants, Defence Construction Canada (DCC), Defence Research and Development Canada (CSE), Canadian Coast Guard, RCMP, Cadets (18 years or older), Junior Rangers (18 years or older), Honorary Colonels, Staff of Non-Public Funds)
NPP Beneficiaries** refers to CAF members, their families and former members and their families.
Ways to Enter:
- “Early Registration” Social Media Contest: Register by January 15, 8:00 PM (EST), and you will automatically be entered for a chance to win prizes.
- “Share & Win” Social Media Contest: Like, share the post, and tag friends to be entered to win prizes.
- Webinar Participation: Attend the webinar and participate in the poll questions during the webinar for a chance to win prizes.
- Post Webinar Survey Participation: Fill out the post event survey and be entered to win prizes.
Prizing Rules:
- Over 63 prizes will be distributed with a combined value of over $10,000.00.
- Once you have won a prize, you will be ineligible to win additional prizes during this online webinar.
- A random number generator will be used to select winners from eligible participants who meet the attendance and poll participation requirements.
- If a winner does not meet the eligibility criteria, the prize will be re-drawn and re-distributed to another eligible participant.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- No purchase or commitment is required to enter or win the contest.
Winner Notification:
A member of the CFMWS team will contact winners via email on Friday, January 31, 2025, to re-confirm eligibility and mailing address.
