Join us for a welcoming, family-friendly space to pause, connect, and take part in meaningful conversations about mental health and wellness.
Mental health is something we all have, and caring for it is an essential part of overall well-being. Mental Health Matters Community Café is a special edition of our monthly Community Café, designed to create a welcoming space where Canadian Armed Forces Members, military families, and veteran families can come together to connect, reflect, and support one another.
This relaxed, drop-in event focuses on building awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging open conversations about mental health in a safe and supportive environment.
Participants are invited to enjoy light refreshments while engaging in gentle, hands-on activities that promote mindfulness, self-care, and resilience.
Throughout the event, guests can take part in short mindful moments, explore affirmation statements, and collect their own wellness toolkit filled with practical items and resources to support mental well-being at home.
Children are welcome to attend alongside parents or caregivers. The atmosphere will be casual, inclusive, and supportive.
Whether you come to participate in activities, connect with others, or simply take a moment for yourself, Community Café: Mental Health Matters is a reminder that support is available, and that seeking help is a sign of strength. Together we can continue to foster a culture of care, connection, and resilience within our military and veteran community.
