The Glacier Gardens Arena is the home of the 19 Wing's four Base Hockey Teams: The Silver Totems (Oldtimers), the Men's Totems, the Women's Totems and the Ball Hockey Team.

Military & Family, and Rec Pass holders skate FREE with valid ID.

The regular ice season is 08 Sept 2026 - 31 March 2027, with special programing being offered during holiday breaks.

Enjoy casual recreational skating for all ages and abilities. A CSA-approved hockey helmet is mandatory for participants under 18 and strongly recommended for everyone. While sticks, pucks, and other equipment is not permitted during open skating sessions, skating aids are available for use during Open Skate. Children under 13 years require adult supervision.

Stick & Puck provides a casual non-instructional on-ice session for individual skill development where you get to shoot, stickhandle, and pass pucks around. CSA approved hockey helmets with full cages and hockey gloves are all that is needed for adult participants. Full equipment is required for everyone under 18 yrs.

Enjoy a whole week of fun with noon hour hockey pick-up! This is a drop in adult shinny program that is open to Military and Defense Team. Bring your own gear as full protective equipment is required (equipment rentals are not available during pre-season).

Dimensions of the arena pad are 185' x 83' or 54.6m x 25.4m. This facility also includes four dressing rooms and two small generic dressing rooms, a Referee's room and an upstairs viewing room with a separate music/PA room.

Along with the Inter-Section and Base Team programs, the arena also offers the local community the opportunity to rent ice times on space availability basis.
