There are many options for getting around. Some of these options include:

  • Airport Access. CFB Bagotville also serves civilian aircraft, providing services for many flights. It is by far the closest means of air travel.

Provincial Services

Updating vehicle registrations, drivers’ licenses, and health cards can be a real chore. Fortunately, this process is (relatively) straightforward. Information on these various Provincial services include:

  • Provincial Documents. Service Quebec is where you get your provincial documents such as Drivers Licences, Marriage Licences, Birth Certificates, and more. 
  • Vehicle Registration. Out of Province Vehicles - If you have purchased a vehicle in another province and are going to register it in Quebec you will need to ensure you have all the documentation and meet all the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec 
  • Health Care: To apply for Provincial Health Insurance in Quebec,  Since June 18, 2012, when a Canadian Forces member is transferred to Quebec from another Canadian province or territory, family members (spouse and children), who have a status allowing them to establish themselves here, will become eligible for public health care upon their arrival because they are now exempt from the three-month waiting period (90 days).
