Now that Yellowknife is back to being frozen, PSP will officially be switching back to the Adult Snowhoeing Program for the Months of January through March.
This on going program will provide adults with the opportunity to get out into nature and test out Snowshoesing every month while making new friends and learning new skills. Expect to be on a snowshoe between 1-1.5 hours every third Sunday. Each month will be the same meeting location at the Float Dock (3513 McDonald Drive).
PSP will provide participants with snowshoes.
If the temperature on the date of a hike is expected to be below -25, the hike will be CANCELLED prior to the date.
Snowshoeing dates will be as follows:
- 19 Jan 2025
- 16 Feb 2025
- 16 March 2025
Registration: Not required
Date: Third Sunday of every month
Time: Meet on location at 1330-1500 (Estimation)
Location: Float Dock (3513 McDonald Drive)
Cost: FREE
Ages: 18+
