RCAF Flyer's Arena

The RCAF Flyer's Arena features a 200-feet by 85 feet (NHL regulation size) ice surface; seating for up to 300 spectators and six, oversized dressing rooms with a heated floor system.  The arena hosts intersection sports, plus weekly skating and shinny, and learn to skate programs; from October to April.  It is home to our Wing's sports team, the 8 Wing Trenton RCAF Flyers. 
 

The RCAF Flyer's Arena is located at RCAF Road near Hwy 2.  It is open seasonally with a variety of programs (from public skating to learn to skate programs, and shinny hockey for youth and adults) plus intersection sports.  

Public Skating 2025

  • Friday - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
  • Saturday + Sunday - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
  • when sponsored - skating is free - otherwise, a drop-in fee is required

drop-in fees for skating:

  • Under 3, no charge
  • Youth 3-17 - $3 
  • Adult 18+ - $4
  • Family - $12

Shinny 2025

Tuesdays 
1800 to 1850 - U13
2100 to 2150 - 18+


Fridays
1800 to 1850 - U13
1900 to 1950 - U15
2000 to 2050 - U18
2100 to 2150 - 18+


Sundays
0900 to 0950 - women 18+
1000 to 1050 - U7
1100 to 1150 - U10


drop-in fees for shinny:

$5, and goalies play for FREE.
