Youth 1st Centre

Are you looking for a place to chill for your youth?

The Youth 1st Centre provides a safe environment free of discrimination for all youth in the community so that they may enjoy the healthy active living programs we offer. Our goal is to engage youth through developing and maintaining interactive programs and services.  The Centre's programming is a balance of hanging out and having fun while enjoying monthly special events and planned activities. We offer supportive and safe activities that are conveniently located, skills-based and engaging. 
  
The Youth 1st Centre includes a pool table, access to the gymnasium and sporting equipment, beach volleyball court, outdoor rink, outdoor zone with picnic tables, big screen television and gaming station, board games, art and craft supplies and more! 


Schedules and Guidelines

ALL youth must complete a Youth 1st Centre Agreement & Behavior Management Policy with a guardian before or on the first day that they come to Youth 1st Centre. 

Youth Night Program


Youth Night Program will provide participants the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities to chill and catch up with friends. Leaders will focus on promoting distant friendship building and having some good ol’ fashioned fun, with an emphasis on safety and well-being

Ages 8-12 

Fridays | 6:00PM - 8:30PM | South Side Community Centre 

Fees 

Youth Nights | Free - PSP Plan Members | $5 NON PSP Plan Members 


*Registration will open on MONDAYS for the following Friday and Saturday for PREFERRED CLIENTS.*
*Registration will open on TUESDAYS for the following Friday and Saturday for OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS.*

YOUTH 1ST SPRING EVENTS

Youth Events will provide participants the opportunity to engage in a variety of themed activities. Just like Youth Nights, Recreation Leaders will focus on promoting friendships and having some good ol’ fashioned fun, with an emphasis on safety and well-being.

BUNNY BASH | 12 APRIL

Hop into the most egg-citing party of the year! Paint Easter eggs, complete an Easter egg hunt and have a blast with your besties.

JRM KICKOFF PRE-TEEN DANCE | 7 JUNE

Boogie your way into summer with our June is Rec Month Kickoff Dance! You and your besties are sure to have fun while you dance the night away. 

JRM SUNSET VIBES PARTY | 13 JUNE

JRM LASER TAG BATTLE | 20 JUNE

You have two goals… light up the battlefield and take down the competition! Get ready for an adrenaline-packed night where strategy, speed and precision will lead you to victory.
