Youth 1st Centre

Are you looking for a place to chill for your youth?

The Youth 1st Centre provides a safe environment free of discrimination for all youth in the community so that they may enjoy the healthy active living programs we offer. Our goal is to engage youth through developing and maintaining interactive programs and services.  The Centre's programming is a balance of hanging out and having fun while enjoying monthly special events and planned activities. We offer supportive and safe activities that are conveniently located, skills-based and engaging. 
  
The Youth 1st Centre includes a pool table, access to the gymnasium and sporting equipment, beach volleyball court, outdoor rink, outdoor zone with picnic tables, big screen television and gaming station, board games, art and craft supplies and more! 


Schedules and Guidelines

ALL youth must complete a Youth 1st Centre Agreement & Behavior Management Policy with a guardian before or on the first day that they come to Youth 1st Centre. 

Youth Night Program


Youth Night Program will provide participants the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities to chill and catch up with friends. Leaders will focus on promoting distant friendship building and having some good ol’ fashioned fun, with an emphasis on safety and well-being

Ages 8-12

YOUTH 1ST SPRING EVENTS

Youth Events will provide participants the opportunity to engage in a variety of themed activities. Just like Youth Nights, Recreation Leaders will focus on promoting friendships and having some good ol’fashioned fun, with an emphasis on safety and well-being.

JRM ALOHA DANCE NIGHT | 6 JUN

Get ready to ride the island vibes! Join us for an upbeat youth dance party packed with awesome tunes, party lights, and seriously good energy! Throw on your favorite summer colours, grab your friends, and dance the night away in true Aloha style. Good vibes only - let's make it a night to remember!

JRM BEACH BREAKOUT | 13 JUN

Join us for an action-packed evening on the water! Youth will paddle board, kayak, and explore the shoreline before winding down with a cozy campfire. It's the perfect mix of adventure, friends, and summer vibes - don't miss out!
