Adventure Camp

Boost your confidence, gain valuable leadership skills and meet new friends. PSP Recreation’s Adventure camp will prepare you for real-life scenarios and summer camp work environments focusing on the education and recreation fields; teamwork, conflict resolution, communication, working with children and program planning and facilitation.

Open to youth from 13 to 14 years old.

Location: PSP Annex: 200 DeNiverville, Gloucester

At our adventure camp, campers will plan their over two night stay at Sleepy Cedar Campground. Campers will learn to plan their own itinerary of activities, plan their packing lists, plan their menu all while working in a budget! Campers will spend the first two days at Uplands working together to organize their stay and spend Wednesday and Thursday night on their trip! Campers will return to Uplands Military Community Centre Friday late morning.

Campers in adventure camp will:

• Learn valuable leadership skills
• Work in a team setting planning and organizing activities
• Get to participate in a fun overnight outing.

Dates:

The program is offered twice during the summer.

• Session 1: August 10 - 14
• Session 2:  August 24 - 28
