    The Urgent Care is located at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, and the entrance is at 144 Brock St. The Urgent Care Centre is for non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses, various types of minor infections (i.e., ear infection, strains, rashes, deep cuts, etc.).  All patients registered before 8 pm will be assessed and treated.
    o    Children’s Outpatient Centre (0 – 18 y/o)

    The Children’s Outpatient Clinic is located at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at Jeanne Mance 1 (enter through the main entrance at 144 Brock St, turn left, walking past The Café. It will be the first door on your left)

  • Virtual Doctor Services
    Virtual healthcare services include:
    o    Maple (link to 3.7.4.1):  Due to COVID-19 for a limited time CAF families have access to free online (virtual) doctor visits via Maple application. Medical advice, prescriptions, lab or imaging requisitions can be provided. A valid CFOne card number is required to confirm your eligibility for this program. 
    o    Ontario Virtual Care Clinic : This program connects to an on-call doctor by video or audio during COVID-19. It is available from 8 am to midnight for non-urgent care. French language services are available between 4 pm to 8pm, 7 days a week. An OHIP card is required and the patient must be over the age of 1 year. 
    o    MD Connected: This website offers telemedicine clinics, online walk-ins and specialist appointments. It’s available from 8 am to midnight, 7 days a week. An OHIP card is required. French services are available.
    o    Babylon by Telus Health: This application lets you see a doctor, mental health counsellor or dietitian from your phone. Free service but an OHIP card is required. For an appointment with a doctor who speak French, or another language please call 1-855-577-8838.
  • Other Medical Resources
    Other medical resources accessible to Ontario residents include:
    o    Telehealth Ontario : Telehealth Ontario is a free, confidential service you can call to get health advice or information. A Registered Nurse will take your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
    o    211 Ontario: Can help you to find a walk-in clinic or other health care services you need. 211 is confidential, 24/7 and bilingual. A search engine is also available online: https://211ontario.ca/
