Military Moms

Do you want to learn new skills and tools to enhance your parenting? Join us and other military moms who can also relate to your unique experiences.

Military Moms is a unique, 10-week program, offering a blend of both group and individual sessions for active military members who identify as a mom.

It is evidence-based and focuses on child centered parenting theory/practical teaching. Goals of Military Moms program:

• To support moms in reflecting on how their present mothering may be influenced by their past experiences, and to set goals for how they will mother in the future.  

• To develop participants’ skills and resources to strengthen their relationships with their children through child-centered mothering and support for children’s connections to parenting partners.    

• To help participants better understand how to use emotions for connection and to strive to build repair when things go wrong.

• To support participants in consolidating their skills and tools, and to begin developing their personal Family Navigation Plan.  

The program dates for the upcoming course are:
September: 15, 22, 29
October: 6, 13, 20, 27
November: 3, 10, 17
