Absence Binder Workshop

Is your family going to experience a work-related absence? Would organizing important documents and information help alleviate some stress?

  • 1800 - 1930
  • Kingston Military Family Resource Centre
This workshop is designed to ensure all relevant documents are organized and accessible while your CAF member is away. Instead of constantly asking yourself, "Who are my key contacts? Where are my important documents? Who do I contact about X,Y,Z?...", create an absence binder to keep everything together and in one place for easy access.

This binder will function as a tool for families to easily file and retrieve information durring a work-related absence, including but not limited to contact informaiton for the CAF member, important family documents, notarized letters, HLTA doccuments, and "Your Guide to Your Family Care Plan".

When you attend this workshop, you will be provided with all necessary materials and the opportunity to customize your binder with sections that are specific to your family.

This free workshop is open to military family members who are 18+ years, with an anticipated or ongoing absence.

This session will be facilitated in English. If language, accessibility or another barrier may affect your ability to participate, please contact kmfrc@kmfrc.com. We will do our best to support your participation and accommodate your needs.
