The Greenwood MFRC (GMFRC) is one of 32 MFRCs that exist today and is committed to providing support and resources to address the unique needs of the military families. The GMFRC offers a variety of programs and services to military families, including mental health support, employment and education support, childcare, and volunteering opportunities. By providing a safe and supportive environment for military families to connect and share experiences, the GMFRC helps to foster a sense of community and belonging.

The GMFRC receives partial funding for programs and services from Military Family Services (MFS) and from 14 Wing Greenwood, with additional funds raised from donations, user fees, and fundraising initiatives. The GMFRC is governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors made up of at least 51% military spouses that work as trustees to provide a voice on behalf of our military families and our community. The GMFRC provides services for all Regular Force and Reserve families, and medically releasing or released military members and their families. The GMFRC also provides services to local family members of CAF members posted elsewhere in Canada.
