The park is located beside the Greenwood CANEX on 1 Ward Road. 

Dog Park User Rules

PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES

This facility is provided as a privilege to the community to be used during the authorized hours of operation out of respect to the local residents.  By entering you agree to abide by the rules posted.  Enjoy your time with up to two (2) of your dogs and remember to always stoop and scoop!

1. Dogs must display current registration, license and vaccination tags.
2. Users of this facility do so at their own risk.  Dog behaviour can be unpredictable around other dogs and strangers.
3. Dog owners and handlers are strictly liable for any damage or injury caused by the dogs.
4. Dog handlers must be 16 years of age or older.
5. Children under age 15 are not allowed in the park unless accompanied by an adult.
6. All dogs must remain on leash until inside the designated fenced area.
7. Dogs must not be left unattended.  Dogs must be in view and under the voice command of their handler at all times.
8. Dog handlers are required to clean up and dispose of their dogs’ waste and fill any holes dug by their dogs.
9. Dogs in heat and puppies under 4 months of age are not permitted in the park.
10. Dogs that fight or exhibit aggressive behaviour must be immediately removed from the park.
11. Maximum two dogs allowed per handler at any time.
12. Smoking, consuming food or alcohol is within the park is not permitted.
13. Professional dog trainers shall not use the park to conduct their business.
14. Failure to comply with posted rules is subject to citation, expulsion or arrest and impounding of the dog.
15. Pet Waste bins are for dog waste only.  Do not put coffee cups, water bottles and other waste in these bins.
