Deciphering Deployment

  • 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • The Gander MFRC
All military families will experience deployment at some point in a Canadian Armed Forces member’s career. Whether it is training, exercises, courses, time in Alert, or overseas locations; deployment is inevitable.
Please join me for “Deciphering Deployment”. An opportunity to learn more about what supports are available to you when your member is absent and to understand what to expect. Whether you are experiencing a long-term deployment or frequent separations, the challenges are different, and families’ needs are different.
Topics open for discussion are “Road to Mental Readiness”, an online tool to boost resilience, the Cycle of Deployment (pre, during and post-deployment), staying in touch with your member, the importance of communication, what supports you can count on from the GMFRC and many more topics of deployment interest.
If you would like to participate in “Deciphering Deployment” please reach out to Colleen at [email protected] or by calling (709) 256-1703 Ext 6221202.
