Drop-in playgroup - Stories and Scribbles

Children and their caregivers are invited to join an afternoon of literacy-based play designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Each week, participants will enjoy stories, alphabet and number games, and hands-on activities that support early literacy and language development through play.

On November 5, 2026, families will invited to join a special Stories & Scribbles Playgroup session featuring Nicola Webb, author of We Will Remember Them. This touching story encourages remembrance while helping children understand the important role families play in supporting those who serve.

As a military spouse and author, Nicola Webb writes books and poetry that help children from military families explore the unique experiences, challenges, and strengths of military life. Through her work, she aims to foster understanding, comfort, and a sense of belonging within the military community.

This special playgroup session will include story time, creative activities, and an opportunity to meet the author.
