Improving the resilience and overall wellbeing of military and Veteran families
We provide localized support to families of CAF members through the unique aspects of military life, including relocations, absences, transitions and mental health. The New Brunswick MFRC has played a meaningful role in supporting military families for many years. In April 2026 the governance, oversight and delivery of the Military and Veteran Family Services Program transitions to Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. This change will be seamless to the community, with no impact on services.
As services move forward with Military Family Services (MFS), our commitment continues with a focus on maintaining strong supports, community connection, and services that enhance family resilience and stabilization in the face of military challenges.
The new organization will continue to be responsive to the community it serves through a Military Family Advisory Committee. Applications to join the committee are now being accepted.
The Board of Directors remains a provincially incorporated not-for profit entity with the primary role of governing the child care operations.
