Family Connections

Our Family Connections programs are designed to encourage peer-to-peer support in a safe space where families and children can connect with each other. The MFRC is a welcoming environment for children of all ages and a great way for families to meet each other or reconnect and have fun.

Family Movie Day

Fun for the whole family! Grab your pjs and get ready to watch the hilariously entertaining movie Monsters Inc. We’ll have exciting colouring activities available for everyone to enjoy, along with tasty snacks and refreshments. Plus, the Youth Centre will be open for ages 9-17, so there’s something for everyone!

Dates: Saturday, March 22

Location: MFRC

Open to: Current-serving CAF, Veteran, and Defence Community families and Families of the Fallen

Cost: $5 per family, paid at the door

MOMC Family Movie Night

Join us for Family Movie Night at the MFRC in celebration of Month of the Military Child! Bring the whole family and cozy up in your comfiest pjs to watch the exciting and heartwarming movie Up!

In addition to the movie, we will also have a designated activity space available for those who need a little break from the movie. Coloring sheets and crayons will also be provided to keep the little ones entertained.
